This particular manufacturing facility has several active energy efficiency projects focused on Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions reduction. These 20 solar UV panels utilize everyday UV light from the sun to create high heat to preheat existing process related wash tanks otherwise heated by purchased natural gas from the utility. Whether cloudy or full sun, solar UV is constantly creating free heat to reduce utility spend and carbon footprint at this facility.
